So much in a new build comes down to personal preference. At least take a crack at it yourself on pcpartpicker.com.

 

Components you need: CPU, GPU, RAM, Motherboard, PSU, CPU cooler, case, peripherals, storage

 

The pcpartpicker will help you with most of the compatibility stuff and parts needed. Checking other builds will give you an idea of reliable brands and setups.

Sorry mate, not used to this.

 

It'll be used mostly for gaming and for photo editing. In terms of peripherals, I've already got the keyboard and mouse but no monitor yet :/
