Cloning to an SSD

Go to solution Solved by Paralectic,

Get a 840 Evo model by Samsung and use the Magician software by them.

It basicly copies your HDD to your SSD if the SSD has enough capacity.

I've cloned my OS to my SSD from my HDD, changed the boot order and I was ready to go.

I have been thinking of upgrading my system with an SSD for a while now, but I am put off by the fact that you may have to remove everything on your HDD. What should I do?

I would very much like to be able to keep the same desktop, but have my system boot from an SSD that has my current OS on it (win7). Is there any way I can do this, and if so does, anyone know of any good tutorials or videos I can watch? Also can anyone recommend me an SSD? I am looking to spend no more than £100 for one.

I am currently using around 250GB of space on my HDD.

Any tips or links you could send my way would be useful.

~Thanks in advance
