What should I upgrade?

Hey everyone. I have a spare budget to spend on something that will boost my FPS the most. Right now I have: GTX 1660 super, ryzen 5 3600,

B450 tomahawk max, 16gb RAM and a 650w PSU. I play fortnite on competitive settings on 1440p and I want a higher FPS. I was thinking of buying a second hand GPU like a 3060ti, 3070 or a rx6700xt... I also thought of a Ryzen 5 5600x or others but i realy don't know. I don't have the budget to buy a CPU and a GPU at once. Help and thanks in advance.

Your plans sound fine in theory, but I don't know exactly where the bottleneck would be @ 1440p.

 

The 5700X3D can be a lot faster if you're CPU bottlenecked and want maximum FPS.

 

You can see that here:

 

But, the benefit from the 5600X/5700X wasn't realised with their 3070 (1080p) in any scenario except Performance mode.
