Weird Board issue.

Hi there!
I usually don't try to seek much help from online sources but i have a weird issue with my "new" motherboard and cpu. I got it as a bundle deal from amazon.

So this system i just use for work in my workshop.

I recently got an MSI B550 A-PRO Motherboard paired with a Ryzen 5 5600X.
I have 16GB Of Corsair Vengeance DDR4 3200mhz ram.
OS: Windows 11 Pro
Bios Version: 7C56vAH 2024-03-19

 

The issue i noticed when i first built the system i attempted to use my video card
It was a Biostar RX550 4GB Video Card i don't need good graphics as i just use this system to work from, Quickbooks, email and maybe read a few manuals or two. But The system came up with a VGA Light and would not go away, so then i switched to another one i had it was a XFX AMD Radeon R5 220 2GB Video card and the same issue appeared. Then i went to my old Viewmax GeForce GT 730 4GB GPU and that worked? Note: The two video cards i tried before are newer in purchase date by 3 years than the GT 730, which is a bit weird.'

 

The system would boot up with the Nvidia screen then move onto a white _ and hang there for a few minutes with the VGA light and finally boot. When the system is booted it runs absolutely fine with no issues that i have noticed.

I did try and update the bios, some drivers, switching between different PCIE Ports and the same issue persists to happen. Some days it will load fast some days it will load slower.

So im coming here to see maybe if anyone has had this issue, could it be that the cards i have are a tad older and i should just get something new and cheap or could it be an actual hardware issue with the motherboard and cpu or maybe there's a bios setting thats making it run weird?

 

Any help is appreciated before i go back to MSI or amazon.

This looks like a finnicky hardware-related issue. I'd suggest indeed going back to Amazon and get a refund. Make sure to remove your product key, though.
