so i have been using the original razer viper mini and need a new mouse and am considering between the g502 hero and the g203 lightsync any suggestions on what i should go for i play a bit of cs2 but i mostly play simulator and indie games also dont have a budget per say but i need it to be as cheap as possible as the viper mini is just under 3 years old and i think that is a bit too short of a lifespan for a mouse

Logitech G502 Hero

Logitech G203 Lightsync

They also have it refurbished by amazon for a decent discount

Logitech G203 Lightsync Renewed

and i also have this but was not too keen on it as i don't know much about cooler master mice

I absolutely love my G502 Hero.  So much so that I bought 2 more G502's on a BlackFriday sale for 19 bucks each just to have as spare in case the one I have breaks or wear out.

I'm a claw gripper and it suits my small/medium sized hands really well.

I came from the good old MX518 so the G502 is very similar in the shape so I was already quite used to it.

I used Logitech G203 lightsync before, it's not a bad mouse per se, but after 9 months of use, the infamous double clicking on the left switches happened, and the RMA process is terrible in the country that I currently resides.

I waited one and half months for them to 'check', just to found that the 'technician' only merely do online double click test and claimed it's working fine, plus I have to bear the return shipping they arrange that cost half of the mouse (even if I arrange the shipping back process, it cost way less of what they charge).

After just a mere 2 days of use, the double clicking is still happening and I don't even want to waste my money on shipping and debate to their customer service as it's obvious that they don't give a damn care on customer, and it's probably gonna waste more of time and totaling cost more than the mouse itself.

I guess since Logitech produce such huge quantity of mouse, there bound to be a defective one in the market, I haven't use G305, but as far as I know, G305 also use the same switch as G203 which is Omron D2FC-F-7N

I would suggest you check reviews on your country about Logitech's or their partner on after sales reputation just for ease of mind in case you got a bad batch of Logitech's mouse.

Now, I use Razer Cobra (for 7 months (cost a bit more than G203), and this is definitely way much better feels and response than G203 Lightsync IMO, and the cable is so light and flimsy, it really feels as if I'm using a wireless mouse without the weight of wireless mouse

P.S.

I just checked on this site, apparently Viper Mini is extremely similar in shape, size and weight compared to Razer Cobra.

So if you still want a Viper mini feels, I would highly recommend Razer Cobra (it's my first ever Razer mouse as well)

I can't tell you what you will and will not like unfortunately.

The G502 Hero definitely looks bigger on pictures than it really is due to the aggressive shape of the mouse.

I have Linus sized hands ( Small'ish ) and I can easily cover the entire mouse with my hand.
