Hello,
I currently have a steel legend b450 with a Ryzen 5 3600 and 16gb of Gskill Ripjaws. Recently my CPU started reaching idling temps of around 65 degree celcius with the stock cooler. I am thinking to get one more stick of ram and a cooler master hyper 620s. My only concern is whether i would be able to get that extra ram installed or the cooler would eat into its space. I dont want to get a smaller cooler as I might upgrade my system in the near future. Any help is appreciated, Thanks.

Instead get a thermalright phantom spirit, much better cooler for less money

Secondly, if you raise the front fan up on this cooler you'll be able to fit both in no problem

Most bigger air coolers can still fit bigger RAM sticks with no problems, either because the heatsink is offset towards the back of the case, or the front fan can be mounted higher, or both.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

FYI. Adding another stick may be fine if it is EXACTLY identical to the existing ones, but it is recommended to upgrade instead. Hopefully, you won't have trouble.

I've been using computers since around 1978, started learning programming in 1980 on Apple IIs, started learning about hardware in 1990, ran a BBS from 1990-95, built my first Windows PC around 2000, taught myself malware removal starting in 2005 (also learned on Bleeping Computer), learned web dev starting in 2017, and I think I can fill a thimble with all that knowledge. 😉 I'm not an expert, which is why I keep investigating the answers that others give to try and improve my knowledge, so feel free to double-check the advice I give.

My phone's auto-correct is named Otto Rong.🤪😂
