Good, that allows for a potential cheaper part prices.

There's 2 ways you can approach your build,

first, a build aimed towards e-sports games, with strong CPU for better 1% lows, where graphics aren't too demanding and usually CPU is the factor when it comes to FPS (unless the GPU is very slow obviously):

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2 GHz 8-Core Processor  ($381.97 @ Amazon)
CPU Cooler: *Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE ARGB 66.17 CFM CPU Cooler  ($33.90 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: *ASRock B650M-HDV/M.2 Micro ATX AM5 Motherboard  ($139.66 @ Amazon)
Memory: *Silicon Power Value Gaming 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 Memory  ($84.97 @ Amazon)
Storage: *KingSpec XF 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive  ($51.99 @ Newegg Sellers)
Video Card: *XFX Speedster SWFT 309 Radeon RX 6700 XT 12 GB Video Card  ($299.99 @ Amazon)
Case: *Montech AIR 903 BASE ATX Mid Tower Case  ($59.99 @ Amazon)
Power Supply: *MSI MAG A750BN PCIE5 750 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply  ($69.98 @ Amazon)
Total: $1122.45
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available
*Lowest price parts chosen from parametric criteria
Generated by PCPartPicker 2024-07-28 11:34 EDT-0400

second, you could just get reasonable AM5 CPU, and pair it with a higher powered GPU for the ability of cranking up details higher and handling 1440p+ resolutions better, while maintaining FPS:

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: *AMD Ryzen 5 7600 3.8 GHz 6-Core Processor  ($193.41 @ Amazon)

  • The reason why these builds exceed 1000$ budget is because there's a chance they'll scoot closer or below it once you look for similar parts in the Microcenter.
  • Also the 7600 CPU comes with a box cooler and it can serve enough cooling capacity.

Kept it below the 1000 USD mark. I don't know how cheap or expensive Micro Center is.

that's a pretty slow RAM for what you can get for 100$

Yep that should bring you near $1000, provided the CPU/GPU balance is good.

If you have any questions, ask out, I could recommend slightly better SSD within 10$ range only

What would that help with?

Not much, just overall guaranteed smoothness from bit better SSD drive. Essentially killing the possibility of waiting for the drive to read/write something.

And obviously lowering durations of the read/write tasks too.

though to be clear, NVMEs are fast by themself already, no matter how cheap

Not much, just overall guaranteed smoothness from bit better SSD drive. Essentially killing the possibility of waiting for the drive to read/write something.

And obviously lowering durations of the read/write tasks too.

Then yeah its just $10 so that should be good
