Got a curious one for you guys, At a metal shop in the northwest, there is this really odd HP Trailer. Seems a bit too dressed up to be just a normal freight trailer and looks more like it was a mobile SAN or Data center? I was curious if anyone knew anything about it/ if it was some old unit HP leased out or something, I tried looking around on google to see if I could find any info on it and nothing came up when searching any of the terms written on it.

Based on what it says, it seems like more of a demo unit, but yeah I’d imagine it has/had a full datacenter deployment inside. Sometimes you need to test your workload on real hardware before committing to a new design, like when moving from mainframe to modern compute (increased performance but potentially increased latency). Supermicro does similar except they help you bring your workload to their datacenter instead of the datacenter to you.

Looking to buy GTX690, other multi-GPU cards, or single-slot graphics cards:

That's at least decade-old branding. They probably built it out as a one-off demo showcase for a trade show, then by-appointment visits to potential big data customers.

It would be cool if it was something like the old AWS Snowmobile, but even Amazon stopped that service.
