If you can afford that, go for it. That will be a night and day difference over what you've got now.

Ignore those, they're worthless.

Hello. I will be getting myself a GTX 1660 Super soon. My cpu currently sucks. (it's an athlon 4x 950). Any good "cheap" cpu recommendations for 1660 super? Also my resolution is 1080p (1920x1080)

What motherboard do you have? Zen is only a BIOS update away, but CPU recommendations change based on how good your power delivery is.

I sold my soul for ProSupport.

Hello! I have an a320m-a pro. I have 500w psu.

Okay, you'll need to update your BIOS, but you can pick pretty much any AM4 processor you want.

What's your budget, and what country are you shopping in?

Even a Ryzen 3600X would be a rocket in comparison to what you've got now. (You can do Ryzen 5000 too, but those updates usually remove support for the processor you've got now. That makes troubleshooting tough on the off chance you get a bad used processor.)

Okay. I will get the Ryzen 3600x then, as I'm in russia and it costs around 8 thousand rubles here (90 dollars). I've also checked the processor on the bottleneck calculator (i think 6.8% is good). What about your opinion? Should I get the ryzen 3600x, or save up for a better cpu as my budget for the cpu is 100 dollars.image.png.0adc8288b65cf93877a1f3dc8f16bfca.png

Forget bottleneck calculators, they are garbage. The values are guesswork at best. How much of a CPU limit there is varies on a game per game basis and on per-game settings, so it's not something you can express with a single number.

The 3600x is definitely a good CPU though
