I had this problem for very long time. In the past when PC was not booting up, I just disconnected it from the electricity and after few minutes connected it back, no problem. Also, it happened maybe like twice a year. But recently it happened and it didnt help. I couldnt boot up PC for about an hour or waiting and trying. Then, without any reason, it just booted up. I got tip to get EATON UPS (900W) as well as tip - if it happens again, to switch RAM to some other slots. Didnt help this time, still couldnt boot up PC. As visible on picture, it gets stuck on this screen, no loading of windows (those spining dots) and keyboard doesnt work either - or the PC just doesnt respond to commands, F2, F6, F11 or Tab doesnt work. Any idea why it happens?

%99 percent of time its disk failing . Deattach disks and you will be in bios in seconds. I am assuming you have nvme - clean the gold contacts with rubber and chuck it in back there . If it works its good - no ? then repleace the drive and hope you backed up your important things.

how its goin mate ? hope my post helps. Maybe drop a like or follow ? >w<

Windows is installed on one of the oldest SSD (not NVME) I have, thats true. I'm ready for "exodus" from PC, all important things are backed up.. I will try to deattach it next time it wont boot up. Could it be Windows itself? Havent reinstalled in very long time (I think maybe its even Windows 8.1 updated to 10). If it will be drive failing, may as well reinstal win.

Anyway, can it be used as a storage (with a risk of random failure) or its better for PC to just get rid of it?

testing these things are very simple let me answer your questions

- can it be windows ?

+yes to test it try to enter bios - if it takes too long to enter bios its probobly ssd.

-can i use it as storage ?

+depends on how important data is and health of drive. If your data is important never put your data on SUS drive. For health you can use "hdd sentinel" its very simple app that has free trial. just install portable and send a ssd of health rates. I can some what give info bout it. then you can uninstall.
