So I am thinking if there is any budget graphics cards that would be worth to upgrade to from GTX 1070 with 500w psu without breaking bank or replacing psu. I know there is RTX 3050 6gb LP but i don't know if it actually has good performance increase from 1070. Thank you

P.S I do also have only Ryzen 5 5500

budget?

5700xt is abit above a gtx 1080 but not quite 1080ti though priced at 120-150$

6700xt should be 200-250$ and afaik should have similar performance to the 3070

6800 should be close to the 300$ mark and is pretty much a middleground between the 6700xt and 6800xt

6800xt are around 350$ or 3080 pricing and perform like a 3080

6900xt/6950xt should be around 400-450$ though value is kinda meh on these as the performance increase from the 6800xt isnt that big, gives the 7900gre a run for its money

The 8GB version isn't worth it, so the 6GB definitely isn't.

A 6600 is a decent chunk faster than either of those cards and usually not far from their price, but I wouldn't buy that card when you're upgrading from a 1070.

Since you have a 500 watt PSU, maybe look at the 4060 if you can find a decent deal (their power consumption is around ~120 watts and they use 8-pin connectors just like your 1070), though upgrading to a card with exactly the same memory capacity isn't ideal.

My honest recommendation (if you're staying with nvida) is nothing less than a 4070, if you want it to last for a good while like your 1070.

Thank you so much) Would you have any recommendations for AMD? I am really into them lately

6700 XT/6750 XT are good cards if you can find one @ $300 (or better: less than $300).

TPU's database has them at 81% and 92% faster than a 1070, respectively, but their power consumption is much higher than a 4060 and they need 2x power connectors, so your 500 watt PSU would have to be decent.

The 6600 is nicer in that respect (similar power to the 4060), but it is just 28% faster (in the same database) and I consider that a very "meh" upgrade. 6600 XT is 47%, which is not too bad, but not something I'd be excited about.

Assuming the PSU can only safely deliver 80% of the advertised 500W, you have 400W for everything.

Ryzen 5500 does not exceed 65W

Give extra 35W for the mobo

Leaves you with 300W for the graphics card

A 7900GRE will do very nicely, with performance and VRAM that will last a long time even at 4k. Without consuming too much power
