"USB Unknown" error. Saitek X 52 pro

So whenever I plug in my HOTAS x52 pro, the lights come on for both throttle and stick. But only the throttle works. When I go to my device list, it shows The joystick as "USB Unknown".

Notes:

OS: win 8.1

What I've tried:

Re-installing drivers

Please help me! Thanks.
