7800xt Brands/Series

Go to solution Solved by podkall,

Not really a huge difference, very mild in clock speed due to differing OC and power design,

all will run at same performance,

the only + for 3fan models is they are obviously going to run the card cooler than 2 fans, but 2 fans can be enough,

noise can be reduced with tweaks.

I am looking at getting a 7800xt and wanted to know if there was any recommendations of brands/series. is 3 fan models worth the extra bit of money? i don't really care for looks. i was looking at the below as reviews said it wasn't too loud but if i don't need the 3 fans then I'll go for the cheaper options.

XFX Speedster QICK 319 Core Radeon RX 7800 XT 16 GB Video Card

thanks, for me the cheapest in Australia is the ASUS Dual so i will look at that.

out of curiosity what tweaks can you do to reduce noise? change the fans?

their fan speed, no need to do that if they're quiet out the box,

but of course you can make a quieter fan curve
