So is 6000c32 good enough, or should I try to find 6000c30? (price difference is about 30%)

I am sorry. I was looking at your H510M-A PRO...

The ASROCK B650 PRO RS is PLENTY enough for the Ryzen 7600 and any upcoming CPU's like the 9800X3D or 9950X 馃檪

6000Mhz CL32 is also more than fine, very very little difference between CL30! We are talking maybe 1-2% at most.

You won't be able to tell the difference.

Everything looks good 馃檪 My mistake on the motherboard.

This will be a kick ass gaming PC.

Recently noticed cpu bottleneck in games, so I want to upgrade, is there anything I should do differently?

CASE: Fractal North

MOTHERBOARD: H510M-A PRO -> ASROCK B650 PRO RS
CPU: Intel Core I5-10400f -> Ryzen 5 7600
CPU COOLER: ARCTIC Freezer 36 CO
GPU: RX 6700 XT
RAM: 1x16GB 2600MHz -> 2x16GB DDR5 5600MHz CL36

The Ryzen 7600 is quite a bump in performance over the 10400f! 馃檪聽 You should see a little increase in overall FPS but quite the increase in the 1% and 0.1% lows for a much smoother gaming experience.

At the moment, the Ryzen 7600 is my favorite CPU on the market. The performance per watt is incredible, price so good too.

If you are able to get a slightly better motherboard you are set for an upgrade path later like a possible 9700X3D for example.

I would suggest getting 6000Mhz CL30 RAM.

prices?

the ram is trash get 6000c30/32, 6400c32 also works but youll have to detune it to 6000 if you dont want to deal with tuning (if you decide to tune then youd aim for 6200-6400 1:1 or 7600-8000 1/2 uclk)

7500f or tray versions of it and the tray 7600 may be available where you live so that might be a decent cost cut though id wait for ryzen 9000 to fully launch so prices will drop

board wise the b650m hdv is the baseline for am5 (8 usb2 6 usb3 2 usbc combined usb ports, vrms will handle a 7950x with ease) and anything over that is just overkill unless you need some specific feature so you may be able to get a cheaper board

i honestly forgot that single channel cripples cpu performance for a moment there

add another 16gb stick to pair with that existing ram stick and that should solve the cpu bottleneck issues for much cheaper
