Hello everyone, once again I am asking for your help,

I have recently upgraded to a 4070s and a 7800x3d, weird story i bought my brother one 7800x3d but I gave him the one I had in my pc, same cpu , but i took the new one,

Long story short, pc is unstable , crashes in games, blue screens, even from playing roblox, random computer restarts , etc

All drivers are up to date ,bios up to date , it is the same ram i used with the other cpu,

I have started a memtest on stock settings, all good, 3 hours no errors, as soon as i put docp on, 6000mhz, 10 minutes 17 errors, so now i am here wondering, did my ram just randomly died? or is the cpu dead? I am not the best at this super high difficult fixes , so can I please get a hand, I have already ordered new ram, so i can try it at 6000mhz, so i can find out if it is actually my ram,

Thank you for reading !

Alright, so what you're going to have to do is effectively play musical chairs with the memory sticks. Try a single stick in each of the optimized memory slots (either A2 or B2) and see if there's either a stick that always errors or a slot that always errors to know if that's an issue. If it's a particular slot or all slots have issues, it's the CPU, but if it's just a single stick it's likely just that one stick.

What is the new kit you ordered? I should also mention that the memory kit your currently using is known to have compatibility issues with AMD systems, so if you bought the same kit you should cancel that same order and get something else instead.
