Minecraft JAVA running so bad on good hardware help

I am using an RTX 4080 super and Ryzen 7 7800X3D with 32gb of ram and getting really bad performance. Need help please

they are super low as well. Im running 1440p but theres no way minecraft should be this hard to run

Aside from the "Minecraft java is a very bad optimized game for what it is" and me recommending tons of mods and settings to make your experience significantly better, it really should run better on that kind of harder. Is that fps you showed the worst one? Like are you experience significant stutters? What is the fps when you just stand straight? Also do share the settings correctly.

 

Aside from just the game, monitor your hardware. Just check if your power usage and thermal output align correctly. See in task manager if something is acting up.

 

Also share which Java version you are using. I am not talking about optimizations right away, but you should try increasing the JVM heap size (memory allocated to Minecraft). Just google it.

So how much memory did you give it and in f3 does it say rtx 4080 or radeon graphics?

Might need to just install a 64 bit version of Java.
