I have no clue about anything related to computers so here's a simple summary.

a year ago my computer had issues starting and my monitors couldn't recognise any form of connection towards the computer, it seemed that removing the ram and placing them into different slots did the trick so I had to do that every few weeks whenever I ran into the problem.

Now I have the same problem however removing and replacing the RAM sticks provide no sort of help at all.

I did some "research" and removed my CMOS battery then placed it back in after about 20 seconds, and that worked. However that no longer works and i resorted to jumping it using the CMOS jumpers which worked a few times but when I boot it up I'm loaded into my BIOS and after digging around it seems that my Windows OS has corrupted, so I had to remove it and reinstall my OS.

2 problems, 1 is that i have a Macbook so i have to convert the ISO w11 so that i can turn the usb i have connected into a bootable usb. 2nd issue is that my computer now wont boot into the BIOS after removing the ram, removing the CMOS and finally jumping the CMOS.

I have no idea what I'm doing so please help a poor soul out that way i can play Minecraft with my girlfriend.

im very grateful towards those who help me out, much love

If you have two sticks of RAM, see if it will boot normally with one, and then check the other one to see if it is a corrupted RAM stick.

Also, do you remember updating your graphics driver at all? That could be the simple solution here.

it works with one of the ram sticks, you must be correct in the sense that 1 was faulty. now im stuck with 8gb of ddr4 ram lol

now my other issue is figuring out how to get a my usb boot compatible using my Macbook

I would imagine there has to be a way to do it in MacOS, but if you're really stuck you can probably use a free trial of Parallels and just do it from Windows on the Macbook.

Does your bios recognize your drive that had the windows install previously on it? Also you may want to wait a bit. Power cycling is a normal part of a repair process.

update!

the computer has gone back to square 1 now. It boots up but there is no display on the monitor however the computer seems to be running fine. It's not the monitor or any of the cables as I've already switched them out with my sibling's monitor and cables which work fine on his computer.

any ideas? im all for doing anything since right now i think i'll have to buy a new computer
