PS3 super slim disk not reading

I bought a PS3 super slim from a friend for 20 dollars and after some new cables for the disk drive it worked. I bought god of war today and it would read it it will spoll it and then stop spoll it then stop and then once more until it stops completely all the other games I have work fine I have cleaned the lenses and god of war had very few scratches and they are small so any ideas.
