Is this a peripheral? My old fart catcher broke, need a cheap new chair.

I'm not looking for high end or expensive or ergonomic or mesh or gaming or RGB or massaging or cooling or any other buzzwords. Just a cushy comfy chair that feels like I'm sitting in a 1983 Chrysler New Yorker. Other than the chair above from Amazon, what fits my needs in the $300 and under budget class? I'm not a huge fan of faux leather, I know I'm not getting anywhere near real leather for under $2000 USD and I'm not even that crazy about real leather. Leather and Vinyl get sticky and sweaty and make those farting sounds when you move around in the chair. For me I think cloth is where it's at. My current fart catcher was a cheap cheap chair that almost made it to 20yrs old, I've been using an old feather pillow as a bottom cushion for the past couple years as the bottom foam and vinyl have left the chat, honestly the cloth pillow case has felt great as a seating material a big improvement over the vinyl even when it was new. This morning a leg shattered when I tried to roll forward to the desk. I'm not a big guy, 5'10 and 150-160lbs, I'm not abusive to my seating, I guess 19 years is a good run for a $100ish chair.

We just got my wife this chair a couple months ago. It's awesome.

Serta Smart Layers Brinkley Ergonomic Bonded Leather High Back Executive Chair WhiteSilver - Office Depot

The major down side to it is that it doesn't recline. The angle you see is the angle you get. I can't speak on the longevity of it yet, but if there's an office depot near you, I'd highly recommend going and sitting in a Serta chair or two if they have them out on display.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

Check your listings on Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist.

There are always Steelcase and Herman Miller Aeron chairs available from liquidations since they are the gold standard for office chairs.

If you must purchase new, I use a SitOnIt Novo at work and at home and my butt is very happy (5'8" 260lb)

A local store has some in stock, I'll go sit in one tomorrow since I need some seat time in my summer car (which has real leather with suede oooooo). It's pleather vinyl stuff but I can always put some cloth over it. Thanks for the recommendation.
