Storage Server

Hello, I am looking for a free storage server, Just a simple place to upload files to store of my pc with quick access. I am running Proxmox on my server machine are there any that run of proxmox or do i make  VM and run it that way? I have about 4 TB split of 2 drives. Thanks in advance!

How would i do that? Not to familiar with this sort of thing.

Lookup guides for something like the turnkey file server container 

 

Otherwise you can install a OS like debian or truenas on a vm and setup a samba/nfs share.
