I have a z87 mobo

I know that this a very subjective topic

But I am going to make my purchase in this few days , and not intend to be thinking more about again ,

So which is more worth the money ? Between i5 4670k and i7 4770k ?

I am not going to wait for the new coming CPUs by Intel so my choice is only this two ( mainly because the availability is very bad in my country )

I am mainly going to use the computer for gaming, photoshop , multi task (playing two games at once, old and new )

, and I am going to sli my 770 , and in the coming months I will get a new hdmi monitor or two more operate together with my existing led monitor ( not sure if it's hdmi)

Does the CPU take into account this aspect ?

Do take note that budget is not a concern and I do not do video rendering / processing and related tasks

Also I do wish to keep using this PC for more than 5 years , so the aspect of futureproofing is important

Thanks for your time and attention

i7. More "future proof".

Not exactly true. The 4670k will still be a strong competitor a few years to come.

There isnt if you cant use your own brain and repeat other peoples sentences.

We can very well determine how to future proof our pc depending on what games are coming out and their requirements. i7 and more than 2gb of vram is what you want when buying new pc to last years. you can add ram later, you can also add another gpu later to upgrade if you want. some hardware like PSU, case, cpu, mobo, ... have to be bought in mind what you would need in future.

Threads from i7 r already being used in games such as bf4. Also better for productivity.

Pff every game uses all of my 12 threads including wow thats 10 years old. Because you see some activity on all of your cores doesnt mean your 4770k will do better than a 4670k.

Hyperthreading wont make any difference for this.

Hi FAA,

Sorry for this question , but I do not know how it works

Hmm , does in anyway getting i7 will reduce the workload compared to I5 ( which makes it less heaty ) on same application , gaming and etc?

Just only taking both processors in consideration without involving case n coolings
