Hello,

My brothers PC which he has had for around a year now decided not to boot into windows anymore/ gets stuck at parts of booting in. I have tried directly selecting the correct boot device through boot manager in the bios and it just displays "_" for a few seconds then goes back into boot manager, i think windows is corrupted on that drive, i have no idea how. Every time the PC goes into "automatic recovery" it shows 2 or 3 textboxes appearing then instantly disappearing and then just loads into a blank screen with nothing on it for an indefinite time. Every time it tries booting it shows "gigabyte" and then then the booting circle which goes around and around for an indefinite time which never allows it to boot into windows. So i used windows media creation tool to install windows on a a drive. fat32 and it only has windows on it. I plug it into the pc and it goes into the windows setup but just displays windows 11 logo on a black screen then stays on a purple screen for an indefinite time. I try "Partition 1" and just the standard drive on boot manager and it still dosent work. I have unplugged all drives that arent used for windows and nothing works.

If you can get to the boot menu select to boot from USB and also try using a USB 2.0 port. USB 3.0 for a Windows install can be flakey.
