Hey I’m building a new pc and a buddy wants to buy my old one but have no clue fair value. Any Ideas?
 

my current build is

 

CPU- AMD 5900x

GPU- ASUS 3090

mobo- ASUS strix b550

ram- 32GB 3600mhz

PSU-850w gold

fans- 9 Corsair fans with a ASUS 360mm AIO

case- O11 dynamic 

 

will be taking my SSD’s 

 

had it for 3 years

$1200-$1400 seems reasonable. 

I'm going off of local prices. A 5900X CPU/Mobo/RAM combo around me goes for $350-450, 3090s go for $500-600, the PSU and cooler are about $50 each, and the case/fans are about $100. I will admit the $900 mark is a little low, I did the math wrong in my head, but $1000 isn't since that's the low end of the price spectrum minus about $50 since everything is being sold together. 

 

If you go eBay, sure you might be able to sell it for a bit more, but odds are the fees and shipping prices will eat into it enough to make it not worthwhile.

but since it's used I'd agree that the overall price would be somewhere above 1000$, since it uses high end parts pretty much, and depending on PSU model,

 

1100$-1400$ and at 1400$ get negotiated down to 1300$ when selling online or something like that
