RAM being weird

I have a pc that i use a lot and recent i wanted to upgrade it.

So i did from 3 gigs to 8 gigs of DDR3 RAM Dual

But my pc wont boot up when i put both in if i put one in it works perfecty

 

The PC Specs are

 

Intel Core i3 530 @ 2,93 GHZ

MedionPC MS-7616

RAM Elixir 1 of 1 gig and 1 of 2 gigs @ 1333MHZ

PSU coolermaster 600W

OS Windows 7

If bought the G. Skill Ripjaws F3-8500 DDR3 @ 1066 MHZ

Dual 4 gig

didn't think of that im going to try it as soon as i'm home \

after some testing i found out that 1 stick is dead.

Now ill have to go back to the store.
