case cooling help

at the moment i got dead silent fans except one exhaust fan that makes tons off noise,

so what im asking is, do the nvidia gtx660 fans exhaust air from the case to cool the the gpu and throw it out the back of the gpu and if so would it be safe and will tempts be cool if i uplug this one loud and annoying exhaust case fan

I'm not sure if the 660s stock fan would be enough, Personally I would just buy a new fan to replace it thats quieter or get an in line fan resister to lower the voltage to the fan making it just go slower than normal  and less loud or if its vibrating the case you can get rubber grommets to stop the vibration, but i would not just take out the fan.  Hopes this helps :)

and also if you do just unplug the fan make sure to take it all the way out of the case  so it wont obstruct the airflow out of the case.

well i have 2 660's and it evga sc+ i dont know how much diffrence the coolers are but im sure the practicly the same so i quesss it could be enought but want to make sure

Unplug it and monitor your temps, fur mark or prime95 to get some heat, if they're too hot, then buy a quiet fan. If they're okay, then you don't have to worry.

i agree with Joshua,  but its always better to have a fan on the edge of the case pushing out air instead of just cycling the air around in your case  and good fans are pretty cheap anyways

i know fans are cheap i got 2 sp120 for my rad and two af120 in my case as intakes, i would turn one round but its all set up to blow cold air to my gpus, i will buy a new one just wanted to know if it was possible to not need one
