ASUS Ryzen 5 Vivobook 15 has a short battery life

specs:

 

Ryzen 5 5600h

16gb RAM

 

for some reason, hovering over the battery icon shows 4hrs of life remaining at 100% ! shouldn't it be higher? about 6hrs+ ?

 

Im only using the browser with a couple tabs and having an office app open. I haven't even begun doing any video editing/ photo editing.
Not even played any games on it yet.

Probably not, the cheap laptops like that don't have long battery life.  It only has a 63Wh battery from what I can find.

 

My 2500U model had sucky battery life too, and worse it would throttle the GPU performance after 10 minutes when gaming.

Router:  Intel N100 (pfSense) WiFi6: Zyxel NWA210AX (1.7Gbit peak at 160Mhz)
WiFi5: Ubiquiti NanoHD OpenWRT (~500Mbit at 80Mhz) Switches: Netgear MS510TXUP, MS510TXPP, GS110EMX
ISPs: Zen Full Fibre 900 (~930Mbit down, 115Mbit up) + Three 5G (~800Mbit down, 115Mbit up)
Upgrading Laptop/Desktop CNVIo WiFi 5 cards to PCIe WiFi6e/7
