or the

Samsung s27d850:

Samsung S27D850, 27" Monitor (2) | Kaufen auf Ricardo

The planar cost $51, while the samsung cost $59. Both of these 2 display have the same specs like resolution and panel. The planar has a build in speaker and cheaper as well. While the samsung might not have build in speaker,  it does have slim modern bezels which i really like but also slightly more expensive. Which one should i get?

meh its cheap, i wouldn't mind if it dies in the next 5 years or so. Plus the seller did gave me 1 month of warranty so it should be fine.

5 years is pretty optimistic, chances are rather a couple years tops 😛

They will both be equally uninteresting. There's not much that can be different with bog standard 1440p 60Hz IPS monitors. $50-60 is a decent price considering new models with these specs still cost $150 and up.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.
