How well do they work for xbox gaming?

If ya buy the xbox version or use any version with a cable plugged into the controller they will work great.

Its a great headset as long as you arent overpaying. Its about as good as it gets part from a Rode nth100m but that is wired only. Which is fine since the xbox controller does have  3.5mm jack

I think it's universally considered the best-sounding gaming headset on the market... so yeah sound quality good.

Planar Magnetic drivers are so good. I have them in my IEMs and gaming is fantastic.
