Vertical stand for gaming laptop

Hi all. I recently upgraded my TV and wanted to do more couch gaming with my laptop hooked onto it. System that I have is Asus TUF A15 (CPU and GPU are attached). So the question for the more tech savvy, which vertical stand would be better and also is it better to put laptop with vents facing up or down (or is it a lot better to forgo the vertical stand)???
