So my gf has a main gaming computer and a quite small almost NUC sized pc by her bed for drawing with a Wacom tablet. Recently she's been wanting to play baulders gate 3 from her bed so I suggested simply streaming it through steam no problem. Except it flat out doesn't work, we're able to click 'CONNECT' but it fails immediately

The drawing computer has 8-16gb ram on a single stick, a 5th gen i5 full sized desktop cpu, and an ethernet connection, and no dedicated gpu of course.

Is there some minimum requirement the drawing computer may not be meeting that I'm not aware of??

I've also tried moonlight but the computers refused to see each other even though they're both hard wired into the router. Parsec is my next idea but we ran out of time tonight

Please include more hardware details, i.e. which specific i5.

The client has more modest requirements, but should have a GPU that supports hardware accelerated H264 decoding.

I would hope an iGPU is fine, but would need to fulfill the same requirements

Other than that, my first guess would be firewall blocking required ports.
