Big Ass Screens!!

Seeing as you guys like reviewing big screens how about trying this tech, you can create any size and different shapes of screen and the dynamic range looks pretty impressive to.

So what benefit is there to a residential customer for this, as the website appears to be promoting?

Oh man if I still worked in AV there would definitely be some clients I'd be trying to convince to install these. But I cannot imagine it is cheap. Definitely cool idea. Also if I was designing a club I would think about this for a stage display rather than other LED panel walls or projectors.

There's a lot of marketing mumbo jumbo, but that's to be expected. What is Extreme Dynamic Range anyway? Even the highest of high-end displays cannot reach the highest HDR mastering point of 10,000 nits, yet here we are already surpassing it on the marketing side. It's as silly as Samsung's "Quantum HDR 2000", which in reality only roughly translates to a monitor with Vesa Display HDR 1000 certification, but not even quite that, since they'd probably want that sticker on their box if they could actually meet the specifications. So they just make their own...

 

These are basically just MicroLED displays with the same modularity gimmick as the Samsung alternative. That basically means it's in the price range of "if you have to ask, you can't afford it" and out of consumers' hands.
