I was currently gifted a coolermaster masterwatt 750w PSU I wanted to know if it was worth using over my current PSU for my build or not? That said I might be upgrading my RTX 2070 to something like a 3070/6700xt in the future. I do see the masterwatt having odd fan noises online and am worried if this will be a problem or has been fixed by now?

If you are having problems with the cooler master, then stick with the thermaltake.

I haven't used it yet I don't know if it's worth it over the thermaltake.

If your PSU works a new one won't change anything

What you should rather upgrade is your cheapo 60Hz monitor and get a NVMe drive, the rest of the build is balanced
