Are my parts compatible and is this build good?

In the US, the cheapest 3060 12G is $290 while the cheapest 6750 XT is $330. That extra $40 for ~40% more performance on average is well worth it IMO. There's other cards as well like the 6650 XT for $240 that's also ~15% faster on average.

If you can get a 3060 12G for $100 less than a 6700 XT, then sure go for it, but that's not the going rate for those cards.

CPU: Ryzen 5 7600x

GPU: Zotac RTX 3060 Twin Edge OC 12 GB

MoBo: MSI B650M Gaming Plus WiFi (DDR5)

Extra Case Fans: Ant eSports Superflow 120Kit ARGB triple pack (120mm)

Are there any issues in this build? Are all my parts compatible? Any suggested upgrades or part change?

(p.s. used parts not available)

(p.p.s newbie pls help)

With that psu you’re living on the edge omg

dk about prices in India but you could save some money

Save some money with a different case, a different ssd.

Get a peerless assassin. It’s better and cheaper.

I would suggest to use https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ to plan your build. It won't allow you to select incompatible CPU/motherboard combinations and otherwise provides hints when stuff might be problematic.

Any suggested upgrades or part change?

A Crucial MX500 dosn't seem like a great option when NVMe drives at the same capacity are available for similar prices.

What is the latency on the 5600Mhz ram your looking at?

What games do you play? If your looking to play graphically demanding titles then I don't recommend a 3060 as it won't be capable of rendering 1440p at 144hz. (tbh I don't recommend a 3060 in any scenario)

Common build advice: 1) Buy the cheapest (well reviewed) motherboard that has the features you need. Paying more typically only gets you features you won’t use. 2) only get as much RAM as you need, getting more won’t (typically) make your PC faster. 3) While I recommend getting an NVMe drive, you don’t need to splurge for an expensive drive with DRam cache, DRamless drives are fine for gamers. 4) paying for looks is fine, just don’t break the bank. 5) Tower coolers are usually good enough, unless you go top tier Intel or plan on OCing. 6) OCing is a dead meme, you probably shouldn’t bother. 7) "Bottlenecks" rarely matter and "Future-proofing" is a myth. 8) AIOs don't noticably improve performance past 240mm.

An arc or Rx card would be better value I think, but idk about the prices in India.

3060 is a fine card if your goal is bare minimum gaming pc, it does great. I would not considder any lesser card than it though.
theres a good reason it's #1 card on steam hardware survey

The problem though is the price, it's usually ~$300 US or more and offers less performance than the similarly priced RX 6700 XT. If you get it for a good deal, it's a fine card, but you're usually better going with something else.

oh in that case yes that makes sesne, I googled the 6650 xt and saw it was going for 500 new 400 used but if you can easily get one for 330 thats better yeah

AMD cards can still ray trace, and realistically the performance of RT isn't good enough to warrant the FPS hit until you get to something like a 3080/4070 level of performance at the minimum.

Look at the ZLUDA project then, that can usually get you by if you do need CUDA support on AMD, and the extra 40% FPS with a 6700 XT is likely worth it.

tested latency section says 40-40-40-77

i play a wide range of games like open world games like cyberpunk, gta , battlefield, forza etc

the main reason i want an nvidia gpu is ray tracing.

yes i can agree to that ig.
it appears that i'm still too underexperienced to pick my own pc parts and those guys on youtube that suggest build dont seem reliable either.
should I post another topic mentioning my use case, location, budget and preferences etc asking for pc build suggestions?

That all well and good in theory, but a 3060 is really powerful enough to do raytracing at 1440p (or 1080p tbh) and still get 60fps.

if I were you, I would go for AM4 instead of AM5 and buy a better GPU with the money you’d save. The games you’ve mentioned a more GPU intensive anyway, so a slightly slower CPU isn’t going to be much of a problem.

I see, thats sounds wise to me. I can get a ryzen 5 5600x and an AM4 Mobo. Which nvidia GPU should I choose? Most people suggested 4060 but reddit says 3060 is better so being a newbie, I'm kinda stuck.

Should I get a 4060Ti ? Also, what psu should I get? Thanks you
