Depends. For a living room TV and if pricing is the same, probably Sony. For using it as a PC monitor, probably the LG. LG is typically also cheaper for similar models.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

Sony all the way. Even when it comes to non-OLED, you can almost fool an old fella into making a VA look like OLED when it comes to the HDR action.

Sony has a lightweight OS plus the actual panels are cooked in better, even when they purchase them from LG.
