GPU gets too hot

c6a7c8

I have a Colorful Igame 3090 advanced inside a Corsair 4000d with 2 stock fans in front, one in the back, ml240l on top. I literally cant use the pc without removing the side panel because of the temps (almost 100c on vrams and hotspots). Getting one extra cooler will really improve the airflow? Im not sure what to do

Was the GPU new or used?  If its used I'd be concerned it might be an ex mining card with dried out thermal pads.

In addition, you may not need more fans, just to reposition them so they are blowing towards the GPU intake fans.  You also may need to tweak the fan curve in the BIOS so they run faster, assuming they are motherboard controlled.  Often motherboards will set a quiet profile by default.

Router:  Intel N100 (pfSense) WiFi6: Zyxel NWA210AX (1.7Gbit peak at 160Mhz)
WiFi5: Ubiquiti NanoHD OpenWRT (~500Mbit at 80Mhz) Switches: Netgear MS510TXUP, MS510TXPP, GS110EMX
ISPs: Zen Full Fibre 900 (~930Mbit down, 115Mbit up) + Three 5G (~800Mbit down, 115Mbit up)

Yes it's an used card, but, it has new thermal pads and stuff. About the fans yeah I should make the curve

To be fair, just looking on Google those temperatures seem extremely common for the 3090.

The top-end 30x0 series cards were extremely inefficient, they just seemed like 20x0 series silicon with the power and clocks cranked to maximum.

Yea, normal temps. Get new pads and more airflow. I put a water block on mine.

also keep in mind an aio hinders overall airflow dramatically, to the point  its actually not recommended for a 3090, an aircooler mostly alleviates these issues.

i mean that works too (i just really dislike water coolers for obvious safety reasons)

I dont know what the obvious safey reasons are. Aside from money, but thats a reason to not like anything.
