Power Supply cable identification

I have 3-4 power supplies and i did not know that i can't use the cable interchangeably. does anyone know if there is a way to identify which cable goes with which power supply? are there markings that i can look for?

Is this the AC cable that plugs into the wall? Those are the same, so you can use it if it fits. 

 

If its the cables inside the PC, then those have to match. I'd check voltages to make sure its the right cable.

just compare the physical connector. if the connector is he same lookup the pinouts and make sure that's also the same. ATX is standardized on the motherboard side but not the PSU side. all the connections are there t the PSU side but sometimes its in a different order.
