Washed display Dell S3422DWG

Hello,

I am an owner of S3422DWG and i am currently strugling to produce good colors on my monitor, although i have applied the profile and settings provided in rrtings : https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/dell/s3422dwg.
Still im seeing washed out blacks... as in photo :

Could you advise as what that could be...

I'm not sure, but that looks like light bleeding to me, is it the same when the pc is turned off, and it's just the monitor turned on?

Open a black image and take a pic of the screen.

 

Curved monitors are notorious for a lot of backlight bleed and very inconsistent color reproduction. You can buy the same screen 10 timea and get VERY different qualities.

 

If you need good colors a lcd curved screen is juat about as bad as it gets to achieve that.

Only in certain black scenes/pictures .. in game its not noticable incase of completely black screen and some bright center..when off all is good.

Well. for some reason i just checked my Color Settings in NVIDIA Control Panel and with some tweaking i got to fix it .... its currently night time so im not 100% how it will look tomorrow. ... but all the smudgings are gone .
This is the current settings ... you see anything bad ?
