Is it worth spending £40 more for Msi branded 3090??

Ed.Nev

Hi, i’m set on purchasing a rtx 3090 after lots of research. I’m planning to choose either the Zotac Trinity one (£560) or the MSI Gaming X Trio (£600).

The Msi one is obviously higher quality, would you spend the additional £40?

Both have the same 2 year warranty from the trusted store i’m purchasing from.

If any other information is required just let me know!

PSU = TXM 750

1440p 165hz

Can I ask why you would choose 3090? Equivalent performance 4xxx cards use much less power.

To answer your question though, not really, as long as the Zotac has good reviews. The temps, thermals and performance will all be very similar between the 2 models. Looks also play a factor, does it look £40 better to you?

don't use a 3090 with this psu. 3090 had and has horrible transient spikes and most 850w psus couldn't even handle it all full load. Just get a 7800 XT or a 7900 XT for a bit more

the Zotac is still decent, I don't think it's worth the £40 but I wouldn't get either considering the 7800 XT is cheaper or the 7900 XT is only a bit more
