Can I replace this thing

Hi, I have a go elitebook 840 g6 and I was looking inside and noticed that one of the USB ports was separate and had a cable connecting it to motherboard.So I wonder whether I could swap it for a usb c. And if so could someone link one?

I assume that's a HP proprietary part. Unless they made one with a USB Type-C connector, you're unlikely to find such a replacement. All you'd likely accomplish is changing the port itself, the USB generation would stay the same.
