as for the DRAM SSD, you can kind of ignore that, it's great but it's extra speed you have to pay for,

and you can't have just a 500GB SSD, that thing will be full by the time you finish installing first videogame,

much better to get 1TB SSD that actually can hold some amount of files and isn't crappy hopefully.

Here's a selection of good quality SSDs that won't go into "snail mode" under specific circumstances, which some other cheap SSDs might:

(the more expensive the better, if you have budget for even more expensive SSD without cutting the original build I can give you some more examples)

I'd go with a Gen4 SSD, Teamgroup MP44 seems ok

Regarding the GPU 3060 is not that good, I'd rather get a 16GB VRAM and faster 7600XT

System : AMD R9 5900X / Gigabyte X570 AORUS PRO/ 2x16GB Corsair Vengeance 3600CL18 ASUS TUF Gaming AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX OC Edition GPU/ Phanteks P600S case /  Eisbaer 280mm AIO (with 2xArctic P14 fans) / 2TB Crucial T500  NVme + 2TB WD SN850 NVme + 4TB Toshiba X300 HDD drives/ Corsair RM850x PSU/  Alienware AW3420DW 34" 120Hz 3440x1440p monitor / Logitech G915TKL keyboard (wireless) / Logitech G PRO X Superlight mouse / Audeze Maxwell headphones

Unfortunately my budget only allowed me to get either rx 7600 none xt or 3060 12gb, not sure which one is better. but could possibly go for  rx 6700 xt but might have to cut down on sssd probably get 250gb haha

did any of my SSDs seem cheap enough or is there room for even better regardless of GPU? (unless one GPU costs bit more)

Don't get a 250GB SSD, will  be too small even for Windows alone ...

Don't get a 7600 neither, only 8GB VRAM

Not sure of you location , but usually 7600 are $30 cheaper than 3060 12GB and 7600XT maybe $20 more only, that's the cost of not even 2 pizzas...

If 6700XT sell for comparable price get one then

Yes the mp44 is bit higher but found the MP33 1TB WITH Decent price although it completes my budgets limits, so I have to choose rtx 3060 12gb or rx 7600 none xt the only price difference is 5 between these two dollar hmm

Btw I'm in Indonesia unfortunately GPUs are ridiculously expensive in here

Rx 7600 4,400,000- 280usd
Rx 7600 xt 5,500,000Idr - 350usd
Rtx 3060  12 gb 4,450,000idr - 285usd
Rx 6700 xt  5,200,000idr - 330usd

Rx 7600 and rtx 3060 is similar price

Actually I might be able to get the rx 6700 xt if I decided to go with ryzen 5 5600 none x

you don't need the 5600x - the 5600 is basically same speed almost as the 5600x, if the 5600 is cheaper just go for that if you're going AM4

yeah your builds approx to about 900$ in US prices, which isn't great but it isn't horrible either,

just to recap, what's your aim here,

  • Resolution for gaming
  • Game you'll play the most often most likely
  • Anything done outside of gaming that's demanding
  • Are you buying most parts from same site, if yes which one? (if I may know)

1.multitasking, such as browsing, using vs code, and light usage Adobe Premiere and photo shop, mostly around tab works, Netflix YouTube etc

2. Gaming: games that I would play would be ghost reckon, call of duty, old FIFA games gta 5 , no more than 4-5 games.

I'd use only two websites - this website is pretty easy, allows you to choose with compatibility and then directly can order

https://www.enterkomputer.com/simulasi/

Yeah 12400F and 5600 is basically a very close drag race.

I'll check these out,

in conclusion for CPUs though, 12400F vs 5600 comes down to basically which one is cheaper when accounting for the motherboard too.

Oh right, those two CPUs are pretty similar, but I think in terms motherboard ryzen more cheap motherboards than intel,

  • or are these like bad? I know some of the prices look quite suspicious for what product they are advertising.

Ryzen Tray is decent, you'd only need to buy CPU Cooler separately, because Tray means the cooler isn't included.

thank god for that one,

anyways, looking at site, I can screenshot you few alternatives that might save you some $,

though bare in mind, I don't know how much I can trust these things, that's on you, but I assume you probably know which things are legit,

So, something like a TRAY 5600:

image.png.c4473df4bfebe193468e3145d2e4a428.png

then you need Cooler, not a problem:

image.png.479abf1c16e83edd0070ceb609697f31.png

then for RAM, you could see if you could overclock this 3000Mhz to 3200Mhz:

image.png.e4c55240e0db2c718a86a74d972ff8ba.png

  • I didn't find that much good SSD, but maybe you did.

This case is decent:

6700 XT isn't that big of a jump,

while 8GB of VRAM isn't that much ideal, it's fine if you're going to be on 1080p display, because VRAM requirement scales not just with settings but also with resolution,

image.png.0f15b0b078ce824a9abd8b04e440c410.png

  • I hope I helped at least little bit
  • In summary your build is good, it has 5600, 3200/3600Mhz RAM
  • 1TB SSD good, if you really want to gamble, you could go 500GB but better SSD, and buy bigger one later, but 500GB can fill up quickly
  • 8GB VRAM cards in midrange near or above 1080Ti is pretty good, not bad cards
  • You got good PSU
  • And what case is in your list?

  • I hope I helped at least little bit
  • In summary your build is good, it has 5600, 3200/3600Mhz RAM
  • 1TB SSD good, if you really want to gamble, you could go 500GB but better SSD, and buy bigger one later, but 500GB can fill up quickly
  • 8GB VRAM cards in midrange near or above 1080Ti is pretty good, not bad cards
  • You got good PSU
  • And what case is in your list?

That is really helpful, let me add them all to charts and compare the prices, I'm most likely going to buy that case the saw the review it was really good plus 3 fans hahs, the ram delta is used so it is bit risky.

I will keep you updated soon and see what I could get  finally

if the ram is used forget it, even if RAM lasts long, you want it last long in your PC not overall across PCs it has been in
