What is the best motherboard for a r9 5950x, im currently running a aorus b550 elite, but i have no idea what im looking for

Well you would just be limited to x570 or b550 motherboards. Is there a reason you want to upgrade?

is damaged, anything connected to it will randomly turn off at the same time

What is your budget, I would upgrade the cpu + motherboard so you can upgrade for the next few generations. If you don't have the budget to buy the a new motherboard and cpu, and don't need any of the extra features of an x570 motherboard than why not just buy the b550 aourus elite again? It is a really solid motherboard.
