Psu upgrade?

Icycookies

I hit a wall probably with my over clock: seasonal 620 watts bronze. My 3570k 4.4 ghz r9 290 core clock 1150mhz memory 1600mhz: cannot go at least 1 mhz more on core using molex to 8 pin.

if your system would be drawing more then 620 watts, the PSU would shit itself off, so you just hit a wall when OC'ing, thats the max your components can handle is seems

it has nothing to do with the PSU, did you already bring the Sliders of the clock speeds all the way to the end ?
