Buying new monitor. Need to ensure that my GPU will support it.

The GTX 1660S should have HDMI 2.0, which can provide up to 14.4 Gbps. 2560 x 1440 x 75 Hz requires 7.09 Gbps, so well within its capabilities.

Hi all, first post on the forum.

I've been thinking of buying the LG 24QP550 monitor, which is one of the few QHD monitor at 24"(more pixel density)

My GPU is a GTX 1660 Super. Will I be able to run 75Hz on the monitor at 1440p with a regular HDMI? Or would I need to buy a DP cable first?

Thanks in advance.
