Other details

I have a modified Alienware Aurora R12 (I got it a long time ago, for cheap). I need help converting it to a non-OEM-style machine. I am not sure exactly which parts I can reuse, which I should replace, and what I should replace them with. So, advice would be appreciated.

Here's what I've gathered so far:

Parts I can reuse:
GPU - Radeon RX 6800 XT (unspecified AMD-manufactured model)
CPU - R7 5800X 8-Core
SSD - Crucial P1 2TB M.2 NVMe (CT2000P1SSWD8)
HDD - Seagate 3.5-inch 4tb (I am willing to part with my HDD if necessary)

Parts I have to replace:
Motherboard - From what I've read online, its an abnormal size.
Case - Obviously
PSU - (1000W) Its WAY bigger than any normal sized PSU

Parts I'm not sure about:
RAM - Kingston XW21KG-HYD-NX (8GB x 2)
CPU Cooler - OEM Alienware Watercooler
Fans - (I only have two 120x25mm Noctua fans and a trash OEM fan)

What I want (although I know I might need to compromise):
- Budget $300-500 (USD)
- The smaller the better
- LOTS of USB (for reference, my current has 2.0x6, 3.0x4, type-C 3.0 x 1, thunderbolt 3 x1)

What I don't need:
- Wi-Fi (I use ethernet)
- Audio/Mic (I have a USB interface)
- A new Windows key (I'm unfortunately a Linux user)

Thanks in advance!

think the motherboard in that model might be close enough to MicroATX that you can fudge it into a standard case, but don't quote me on that.

If I'm not mistaken the R12 actually uses a standard mATX motherboard. Hell, I think it's even exempt from Dell's flavor of 12VO and 5-pin PWM autism.
