Display output capabilities of usb c 3.2 gen port.

I am buying IdeaPad Slim 5 from lenevo that has hdmi1.4b and two usb 3.2 gen 1 (full function) ports. Can I get a 4K 60 Hz output from this, if I was to connect a 4K monitor? What about 2K and higher refresh rates such as 120 Hz?

thanks

It supports whatever it supports, the video capabilities are not related to the USB generation. It's a direct output from the GPU so it will just be based on the DisplayPort capabilities of the GPU.

Based on what I can find about the AMD 7730U, it should support the formats you mentioned.

4K 60 Hz and 1440p 120 Hz only require HBR2 speed which has been doable with DisplayPort for around 10+ years.
