Best way to mount fans??

Crossbow527

I want to be able to see the RAM sticks when my computer is in the case so I was wandering if it would be ok to mount the fans in the opposite way to how I have then now?

Sure, that would work.  Its not ideal but as long as the temperatures are good ( Of course check this ) then its completely fine to do so.

Just put the metal hook / clip on the other side of the fan and dont just reverse the fans as this would be pulling the air to the front and not back to the rear for exhaust.

Excellent thankyou, if I were to do this would it be best to remove the fan that would go on the front area here?20240304_193648.thumb.jpg.3dd109304648f69e6599838e724c9775.jpg

The extra fan can help but it's probably a small difference.

Yes.

I've been using computers since around 1978, started learning programming in 1980 on Apple IIs, started learning about hardware in 1990, ran a BBS from 1990-95, built my first Windows PC around 2000, taught myself malware removal starting in 2005 (also learned on Bleeping Computer), learned web dev starting in 2017, and I think I can fill a thimble with all that knowledge. 😉 I'm not an expert, which is why I keep investigating the answers that others give to try and improve my knowledge, so feel free to double-check the advice I give.

My phone's auto-correct is named Otto Rong.🤪😂

If you mean the rear fan above the slot holes... if it fits, use it.  If it doesn't, leave it empty or add a duct from the cooler's fan to the grating so the air all goes out.
