Hi everyone,

I hope someone can help.

My computer always posted in about 15-20 seconds. Had a storm that knocked out power and i didn't have it plugged in the battery backup part, just the surge protector.

So it turned off when power went out,

No biggie i thought. But now instead of 15-20 seconds, it takes about 3-4 full minutes then posts fine. Windows has no issues of any kind. Hope it is something simple, it's not the end of the world. But it is very frustrating. Anyone has ideas let me know. But if no one can help then i will just go get something to eat or drink while it starts! LOL

Appreciate feedback, and everyone have a nice day 🙂

Thank you, i will check on that. Guess i gotta google how i do it for my gigabyte motherboard.

Also though, when i installed my 7900xtx from a 1080ti it did add about 15 more seconds, but that was it.

Did you use DDU to nuke the Nvidia drivers before installing the AMD card?

Yep, did that awhile back.

Been going strong for 2 weeks. Power blinks and it's a 4 min wait to post now or show anything on screen.

You try doing a full reset of the BIOS through removal of the CMOS battery?

I have not, will try next. Thank you very much!

Make sure power is removed when doing this(and try to discharge the system). When the system has power from mains, the CMOS battery isn't doing anything - it is mains that provides power to the CMOS chip.
