How do I talk to my pixel phone without my nest assistant responding?

I have a Google pixel 7a and a nest assistant mini in my bedroom (with one of other speaker assistant in the house) 

And when I want to ask my pixel for stuff I can't do it without nest responding and taking over my request with being unhelpful.

 

For example for some reason even though I have personal results on in my nest he says "I can't text" or "sorry dad is not in your contacts" so I think okay I'll ask my pixel to do it because i know he can but then the nest interrupts my pixel.

 

Is there any way to give them names so I can be like "hey Google Steve" being my phone and Claire being my nest?

I'm still new to android, I've been iPhone all my life till a few months ago and I want to see all the assistant capabilities.
