4090 ECC State

i updated the vbios on the 4090 strix oc that i have, the latest bios said it fixed an issue where ECC doesnt get enabled if you try to enable it, once the vbios was done updating it said "ECC state successful" something along those lines, i dont want ecc enabled i just wanted the latest vbios (i was trying something). i checked nvidia control panel and even after restarting my pc, the ecc state is off which is good but is there any way it could be enabled just not through nvidia control panel? if it is enabled i just wanna disable it thats all
