This is what I've got chosen so far.

I'm trying to decide on:

1. go with 840evo 250GB or 500GB?

2. go with 2x4GB RAM or 2x8GB RAM?

c. $326.99 500GB + 2x4GB

d. $388.99 500GB + 2x8GB

 

What are your opinions?

#3: Yeah you only need 2x4GB for gaming, you can always upgrade to 16GB later anyways

It depends on what your brothers going be doing if hes just going to game the 250 GB is enough and you could use it as a boot drive, and again if he is just gaming 8gb ram is enough but if hes going to get into HD editing the I would suggest the other options.
